Volunteers are at the heart of almost everything we do at Dans la rue. The organization that started with Pops and a handful of volunteers now has a team of volunteers 135 strong. In fact our flagship service, The Van, is manned exclusively by volunteers making them the first Dans la rue contact for many of our kids.

From the dentists and dentistry students who come to the Day Centre, to our volunteer Board of Directors, there are many areas where volunteers help us get through our day. The kitchen, the Depot, our warehouse, the Bunker, art room, music room, computer room and, of course, our school are all enhanced by the presence of volunteers. There are even volunteers in our Administration Department.
